Mrs Abiodun Adejoke Sherifat was born in Ado Ekiti Local Government area of Ekiti State on 17th April, 1968. She had her primary education at A.U.D Primary School, Ado from 1974 – 1980 and post-primary education at Christ’s Girls’ School and Baptist High School also in Ado Ekiti from 1980 – 1986. She had her lower sixth form at Christ’s Girls’ School in 1987 from there she proceeded to the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in in 1993. She had her Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto and her Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics from the Federal University of Technology, Akure in 2008.

She observed the compulsory one year National Youth Service at Biu in Borno State between 1994 and 1995.

Mrs Abiodun Adejoke joined the Ondo State teaching service commission as an educator in April 1997. She taught meritoriously in various schools and retired voluntarily in December 2012 on Grade level 135 cadre.

She has travelled far and wide to countries such as Germany, Israel, Turkey and others. She is happily married with children
