Best Solution Polytechnic on Friday 30th August, 2019 played host to officials of the Industrial Training Fund for the third annual Student Industrial Work Experience scheme orientation program for ND1 students for the 2018/2019 academic session.
The Registrar in his welcome speech admonished the students to take the Student Industrial Work Experience program serious as it is an essential part of their academic curriculum specially designed to prepare for the technical and administrative duties in their respective fields.
Mr Olademeji the Student Industrial Work Experience director instructed the students to obey the rules and regulations laid out by the respective organizations, he laid emphasis on the safety rules of each organization telling the students to follow them to the letter.
The training officer Mr Abiodun Olukaye made a full introduction of the Student Industrial Work Experience to the student. He told them about the requirement for the program which are knowledge, skill and attitude.
SIWES is designed to bridge the gap between theory and practical, expose the students to industrial work environment, and to also familiarize the students to the employee – employer system.
